The Story
Growing up on the streets of Boston, on the south side, our fa-ther’s childhood friend was nicknamed “Sailhead” for his rather large ears. Yes, his last name was Murphy. Spending many a child’s summer, Dad spoke of him often reminiscing about those long hot summer days full of fun and mischief. So we made this beer for those hot summer days, perfect for quenching your thirst at the local pub or perhaps after a sail, or with your friends on a beach watching a sunset.

Cicerone Notes
A West Coast Pale Ale using Dry English Ale yeast. Significantly hop forward, but not quite an India Pale Ale. Dry, crisp, clean and refreshing, this pale ale delights the palette with citrus and grapefruit floral notes. A rich pale malt flavor is accented with a touch of fruity aromas.

Food Pairing: Serve in a 16oz Munich, Tulip or Pint/Nonic glass between 45-55 degrees F.
Pairs well with Brick, Edam, Monterey, Jack and Pepper Jack cheeses, Italian dishes, salads, chicken dishes, grilled foods, fish, shellfish and spicy foods.
