A little known secret in Chula Vista, Ciao is a small family owned and operated Italian restaurant that holds its own when it comes to beer. Apart from the variety of bottled beer they display from behind the counter, Ciao has 13 taps; 10 of which are dedicated to craft beer. Ciao is always solid on their tap list and is surprisingly an almost-anonymous establishment in the craft beer scene in San Diego. A truly underplayed gem at the foot of Chula Vista, Ciao is a great place to find rare and out of season beers. The food is good, the beer is delicious, and the staff is friendly.
