Description by Leah Brownlee
It’s no surprise that, over the last three years, Toronado has become a destination for craft beer lovers. Located on 30th Street in North Park—the beeriest stretch of road in San Diego—it is a stop on the monthly DrinkAbout shuttle and a great place to mix with a diverse crowd. With a tap list 50 beers strong and a seemingly endless bottle list, it can be difficult to know where to start. Fear not: the extremely knowledgeable staff is always on hand to answer questions and make recommendations. Monday $3 local pint nights are a great way to expand your knowledge of San Diego beers, and the recently added photo booth on the back patio adds to the fun that can ensue when drinking good beer. They’ve also got a tasty menu, free Wi-Fi, and board games—all legitimate excuses to spend extra time here enjoying a beer.
