The Sculpin is a testament to our humble beginnings as Home Brew Mart. It showcases bright flavors and aromas of apricot, peach, mango & lemon. The lighter body also brings out the crispness of the hops. This delicious Ballast Point Ale won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup 2010 in the International Pale Ale category. The Sculpin fish has poisonous spikes on its fins that can give a strong sting. Ironically, the meat from a Sculpin is considered some of the tastiest. Originally released for the Green Flash 6th Anniversary Celebration and brewed to recognize the synergy behind the craft beer culture on 30th Street in San Diego. This American Pale Ale is very well bittered and dry-hopped, making it taste like an IPA by many hop head's and other brewer's standards. Our 30th Street Pale Ale has become a staple in all our favorite local neighborhood pubs and restaurants on a stretch of 30th Street from Golden Hill through South Park and North Park to Normal Heights.

Brewed with half a ton of caramelized malts, our award-winning Irish Red has rich toffee flavors, notes of dried fruit, and a slightly sweet finish.
