TapHunter.com Debuts in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, May 26, 2009—TapHunter.com, an online service for beer aficionados to search for their favorite craft brews, today announced its beta launch in the San Diego market. The brainchild of beer lover Jeff Gordon, TapHunter.com offers a directory of breweries, brew pubs and other local hangouts that feature craft brews…saving users the time and aggravation of having to search the Internet themselves for that information.
“We’ve done all the research ourselves to compile a list of where craft brews are available on tap in San Diego,” Gordon said. “We’ll be constantly updating the site, with assistance from other beer lovers, craft brewers and brewery/brew pub owners. This isn’t rocket science, but it’s an invaluable service to those who regularly seek out craft beers.”
TapHunter.com allows users to search by bar, beer or location; favorite brews can even be tracked by RSS...and soon via Twitter. Interactivity is a big part of the TapHunter.com experience, as suggestions for new tap menus are welcomed and site visitors are invited to become TapHunter.com fans on Facebook. TapHunter.com is also focused on giving back to the community by partnering with local organizations on fundraising ideas and events. Beers for Books, which supports Room to Read’s local language publishing program, is currently featured on the site.
